The HomeServe Mailer

Is the HomeServe mailing legitimate?
Yes. The HomeServe letter that many customers have recently received is a legitimate mailing. The Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority has partnered with HomeServe, an independent company, to make optional exterior sewer/septic line protection available to eligible homeowners. This program is not a scam. It is an optional service contract offered through HomeServe, not through TOSA.
Why was I contacted?
Many underground sewer service lines age over time and can require expensive repairs or replacement. HomeServe mailed this information to eligible customers so they can decide whether optional protection is right for their household.
Questions?
If you have questions about the optional protection plan, please contact HomeServe using the phone number or website listed in your mailing. If you have questions about your sewer utility service, please contact the Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority.
